Dr. Salla holds a Ph.D. in Government from Australia's University of Queensland as well an M.A. in Philosophy from Australia's University of Melbourne. Dr. Salla's past academic appointments include: the Center for Global Peace and the School of International Service at Washington, D.C.'s American University; the Department of Political Science at the Australian National University, in Canberra, Australia; and George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs, in Washington, D.C.
